A major consumer goods client has just completed a very successful Proof of Value (POV) for inter-company reconciliations.
The payback was very significant.
The client was trying to halve their monthly financial close. A major blocker was the volume of inter-company reconciliations required. Over 100 FTEs were engaged in this over a 3-week period, each month. There was a significant backlog of unreconciled transactions. The client had a two year internal project to resolve this with a team of 10 staff.
